Job description:

• Site Planning for GSM Radio Systems: Selection and evaluation of locations for new radio systems based on technical, regulatory, and economic criteria.
• Network Design: Creation of design plans for copper and fibre optic networks on existing infrastructure to ensure optimal network coverage and performance.
• Planning of Multiplexer Networks: Development and implementation of multiplexer networks, as well as the expansion of existing networks to improve data transmission capacities.
• Conducting Site Inspections: Evaluation of sites on location to determine their suitability for radio systems and make necessary adjustments.
• Technical Documentation: Creation and maintenance of technical documentation, plans, and reports to support project work and for future reference.
• Collaboration with Stakeholders: Close cooperation with internal and external partners, including suppliers, clients, and regulatory authorities, to ensure that all project requirements are met.

Skills requested:

• Qualification: Completed degree (Bachlor) in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Experience: Several years of experience in radio frequency technology, ideally in the planning and implementation of radio networks.
• Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of GSM technologies, network technologies (copper, fibre optic), and multiplexer systems.
• Willingness to Travel: Readiness for regular business trips and site inspections.
• Driving Licence: Valid driving licence required.
• Security: Successful completion of a sabotage protection assessment.
• Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and precisely.
• Teamwork: Ability to collaborate in interdisciplinary teams and with various stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Analytical skills and a solution-oriented approach to efficiently address technical challenges.
• Independence: High level of self-motivation and ability to drive projects independently.
• Languages: German (B2) and English (C1).
