Role Overview: As a Sourcing Manager at Outokumpu, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the availability of services within defined scopes, contributing to the success of our procurement operations in the Central European region (The Netherlands and Germany).

Key Responsibilities:

• Steering spends and supplier selections between key/top suppliers in allocated categories.
• Advanced Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) with key/top suppliers to ensure the highest value to Outokumpu.
• End-to-end responsibility from contract management to operational transactions executing tactical planning.
• Promoting sustainability by working with suppliers to reduce the environmental and social impacts of their operations.
• Reducing risk and ensuring availability by creating and maintaining a supplier network, building strong relationships with suppliers, and monitoring their performance and compliance.
• Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders to align with regional strategy principles.
• Developing sourcing planning for selected services, being end-to-end responsible from purchase requisitions validation to invoice and claim resolution.

Experience & Knowledge:

• Completed commercial training with professional experience in purchasing services.
• Understanding of procurement and sourcing methods.
• Proficiency in SAP or other ERP purchase modules.
• Fluent in English and German; Dutch is a plus.
• 3+ years in procurement or strategic sourcing, ideally in the steel industry.
• Strong analytical skills for spend and market data, with expertise in stakeholder management and supplier negotiations.
• Excellent communication and persuasive skills, with a willingness to travel up to 20-50%.

Location and Reporting: You will be based in one of our sites in Germany or The Netherlands and report to Head of Spares and Services Central Europe.
