As a Mechanical Designer (m/*/f), your role involves taking on more challenging tasks and responsibilities. You will play a crucial role in translating specifications into innovative concepts and design solutions in the Mechanics domain. You will visualize these concepts and designs in 3D. As a sparring partner to the Architect, you will collaborate closely to ensure alignment and synergy in the design process. Working alongside Architects, System Designers, fellow Designers and Engineers, you will contribute to the overall development of the product. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring that the designed product is manufacturable and can be assembled at minimum cost. This includes conducting tolerance analysis and defining critical-to-quality dimensions to ensure the product meets the desired specifications. Additionally, you will collaborate with suppliers to align on manufacturability, availability of components, and the use of vendor components. Your experience: • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanics. • At least 3yrs of relevant experience in a technical environment. • Strong technical skills in the field of Mechanical design and engineering. • Excellent knowledge of Design for Manufacturability, Assembly, Cost, and Reliability. • The ability to coach and guide other Engineers and more junior Designers.
