Your responsibilities

To support our customers, we are providing cloud connection and collecting plant data. Based on the plant data we are developing service products to provide key insights into the plant, which help the plant owners to operate their plant with higher degree of efficiency and more environmentally friendly. The Uhde Cloud is managed by the group ENG-PR in our Engineering department, which you will support in following tasks:
• Management of the infrastructure like databases, serverless functions and webtools.
• Building exciting new products: implementation of data visualization and analysis tools for displaying and interpreting plant performance data.
• The opportunity to be creative when working on these topics: developing algorithms for predicting plant issues and optimizing operational parameters.
• Collaboration inside the organization with various technology-owners to optimize the internal workflows for our core business, in person and frequently in-house.
• Taking responsibility as a project owner for external digitalization solutions, with our clients around the world.

Your profile

• Minimum 3yrs professional experience in a related field. Preferably a university background in computer science or engineering with computer science specialization.
• Experience with web-development with tools like React, Flask, Blazor. We strongly believe that the technology stack is less important than the right know-how on how to learn the dedicated tools in use.
• Know-how to integrate with databases and architect software in the cloud.
• Experience how to analyze data with modern data science libraries.
• Preferred experience in the following programming languages: Javascript/Typescript, Python, C# and other languages to lesser degree.
• Proactive spirit which is motivated to understand our business needs and who can develop added value from this knowledge.
• An innovative mindset.
