Job description:

• Team Leadership: Guide and mentor a small team of engineers, providing technical expertise and direction throughout the project lifecycle
• Project Management: Oversee project timelines, monitor progress, and coordinate tasks with project management teams and stakeholders
• System Development: Develop system architecture, technical concepts, and implementation strategies for our cutting-edge battery systems. Analyse risk factors and devise contingency plans to mitigate potential issues
• Stakeholder Engagement: Interface with internal and external stakeholders, presenting project updates and seeking approvals as necessary.
• Soft-skills: Your ability to communicate technical concepts effectively will be instrumental in driving consensus and progress

Skills requested:

• Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, automotive engineering, mechatronics, or related fields
• Industry Experience: Prior exposure to the automotive sector, particularly with German OEMs, is highly desirable. Deep understanding of lithium-ion battery systems is essential
• Technical Proficiency: Profound knowledge of electrical, thermal, and mechanical concepts related to automotive battery systems (BEV, PHEV, HEV) across various voltage levels (48V/400V/800V)
• Language Skills: Fluent in English and good German skills, with exceptional communication abilities. Strong team player with a passion for innovation and continuous learning
