Job description:

• Developing software to control power electronic circuits of grid-tie inverters and related products featuring DC/DC converter stages for photovoltaic, battery systems, and fuel cells
• Analyzing new requirements and drafting specifications, architecture, and documentation
• Creating hardware-proximate and real-time capable software in C/C++
• Conducting software reviews and unit tests
• Performing integration tests on real devices and within the Hardware-in-the-Loop system
• Providing support for certifications and developing automated tests and scripts for Continuous Integration
• Selecting and optimizing hardware components
• Adhering to deadlines and quality standards

Skills requested:

• University degree (minimum Bachelor's) in Electrical Engineering, Technical Computer Science, or equivalent qualification
• Strong proficiency in digital signal processing and control engineering, particularly in Power Electronics
• Programming skills in C/C++ for real-time hardware-centric software
• Experience with common scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash
• Knowledge of real-time microcontrollers (e.g., TI C2000)
• Software engineering expertise including Requirements Engineering, process models, test procedures, and version control
• Hardware expertise, especially in Power Electronics
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and DevOps mindset, including Continuous Integration
• German and fluent English
