As a Mechanical Engineer at Sioux, you play a crucial role in fitting the puzzle pieces together. Without your drive and expertise, we wouldn't be able to accomplish what we do. Sioux is dedicated to developing and producing cutting-edge technology for the global high-tech community. Whether it's multidisciplinary test systems for complex lithography machines, a compact electron microscope, or a medical system for automated tissue scraping, we push boundaries and turn the seemingly impossible into reality. This is made possible by a team of passionate specialists in mechanics, electronics, software, mechatronics, and mathematics working together. Your role will involve translating mechanical concepts and designs into detailed 3D models and 2D drawings. You'll be responsible for generating design solutions in the Mechanics domain, with a focus on manufacturability, assembly, cost, and reliability. Precision in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) and meticulous attention to the completeness and quality of Technical Product Documentation (TPD) are essential to ensure flawless (re)producibility. What you can expect: • Engaging in a variety of high-tech projects. • Continuity in the ultra-high-complex product portfolio, with roadmap driven development. Your experience: • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanics. • 3 years of relevant experience in a technical environment. • Strong technical skills in the field of Mechanical design and engineering. • Excellent knowledge of Design for Manufacturability, Assembly, Cost and Reliability. • As a senior: the ability to coach and guide more junior Engineers.
