As a Mechanical/Mechatronic System Designer, you play a vital role in supporting the Architect in deriving system requirements from customer needs. You excel at translating these requirements into mechanical and mechatronical concepts and designs within the context of a multi-disciplinary system. Your expertise includes performing calculations and analysis, such as strength and stiffness evaluations, design optimizations, and utilizing Finite Element Method (FEM) software. You are skilled at drafting Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) that include time and complexity estimates, and you take charge of executing technical work packages. With your keen eye for detail, you identify potential technical risks and propose effective mitigations. Additionally, you constantly seek opportunities to enhance synergy between multiple disciplines within the project and successfully implement them. Your experience: • A Master's or PhD degree in Mechanics and/or Mechatronics. • 5 years of experience in a relevant domain, including 2 years as a System Designer • Strong technical skills in the field of Mechanical design and engineering. • Strong analytical mind and skills; able to define and perform the required analysis and calculations (both by hand and with FEA). • Excellent knowledge of Design for Manufacturability, Assembly, Cost, and Reliability. • The ability to coach and guide other Engineers.
