Digital Statement on a Foreign Vocational Qualification (DAB)
German: Digitale Auskunft zur Berufsqualifikation
The Digital Statement on a Foreign Vocational Qualification (DAB procedure for short) certifies that the non-academic vocational qualification acquired abroad has been completed, that it is recognised in the country of origin and that it is equivalent to a two-year full-time vocational training programme. The application for the procedure is submitted digitally to the Central Office for Foreign Education (ZAB). The results are issued in a notice, which can be used as a proof of qualification.
